It's a really excellent reflection. I wonder how many practitioners ever describe a death we're involved in line that?

There's few people who fully appreciate that ED Physicians are the front door, medically, see and do an awful lot.

I saw resuscitated a term neonate once, whilst a NICU resident (we don't use that term, but it's the equivalent role). At 2 minutes, APGARs were 0 and I couldn't ventilate and couldn't intubate. All I could think for a moment was, "This baby is going to die, and it's going to be my fault". NP couldn't either. Then this baby just spontaneously gasped and Moro'd. Surreal. Like what happens with Narcan. Baby did well. It was probably the only time I really reflected on those situations, emotionally, until fellowship.

You told it so well, Dr. Galt. Alleluia ! I loved it and restacked it in hopes that many others can enjoy this wonderful, true story.

Love this. I have seen my share of divine interventions in my life with regard to medical stuff. My Guru once remarked that "Science is the study of creation. Religion is the study of creator" and both can co-exist in our element of faith. Thank you for sharing this with all honesty.
